Heirloom Eggplant Rosa Bianca Seeds

Heirloom Eggplant Rosa Bianca, a beautifully simple variety from Sicily. Its unique light pink-lavender fruit features delicate white shading and a gently scalloped shape, making it a lovely addition to any meal. Rosa Bianca eggplants have a sweet flavour making them popular among chefs and home cooks. They can be used in various dishes, from salads to stir-fries. Rosa Biancas work especially well when roasted or grilled, as the skin will become lightly charred, and the inside will remain tender.

How To Grow :

Sow in Spring after last frosts. Tropical areas all year round. Keep moist not wet. Be sure to add a few inches of compost to your garden before sowing the seeds or planting young plants. Make sure that the planting site receives 6-8 hours of indirect light each day, and give the plants ample space to spread out.

Harvest :

When these eggplants are 15-20 cm in length, they are ready to be harvested. Pay attention to other factors like color and texture, as ripe eggplants have a light purplish color with an ivory tint. The skin should also feel firm to the touch, so avoid harvesting if you feel any softness or wrinkles.
