Italian Basil Seeds

How to grow:

It’s important to keep the soil moist while waiting for your basil seeds to germinate. Grow in seed trays, and plant out in 4-6 weeks. Sow seed at a depth approximately three times the diameter of the seed. Best planted at soil temperatures between 18°C and 35°C. 

Plant seedling out into fertile soil enriched with compost or aged manure to give the plants a good start, make sure that the soil is free-draining because basil does not cope well with damp soil.
