Heirloom Collard Green Seeds are perfect for gardeners looking to grow nutritious, leafy greens with ease.
Heirloom Collard Green Seeds offer a classic American variety dating back to the 1800s, known for producing large, open heads that can reach up to 80cm in diameter. These traditional plants yield thick, sweet leaves with a mild cabbage flavor, perfect for steaming, boiling, or stir-frying. Their heat and frost tolerance make them resilient in various climates, while their slow bolting ensures a longer harvest period. Ideal for gardeners seeking a reliable, flavorful green that thrives with care, these seeds bring both heritage and hearty nutrition to your garden.
How To Grow :
Sow the seeds in late summer or autumn, planting them 5mm deep and spacing each plant about 80cm apart to allow room for growth. These hardy greens thrive in full sun to partial shade and prefer well-drained, fertile soil to develop their rich flavor and tender texture. Keep the soil consistently moist to support healthy growth. With a little care, you’ll enjoy a bountiful harvest of vibrant, nutrient-packed collard greens that are ideal for a variety of delicious meals.
